Industrial part 3D printed with MJF HP, copy of aluminium part

Collaboration with On Demand 2033

18 September, 2025

Since last fall, we have been collaborating with the team at On Demand 2033 and are implementing joint projects in the additive manufacturing of industrial parts. One of the first successes was the creation of a copy of an industrial part, traditionally made of aluminum, using 3D printing in PA12 material (nylon).

The On Demand 2033 team has produced an article describing this case study, presenting the process, materials used and results achieved in detail. We encourage you to read it to discover the possibilities that collaboration within the project can offer. Read their article here.

About On Demand 2033

The project's mission is to support the development of resilient, sustainable and on-demand-driven industrial production in Sweden by:

● Increase delivery reliability

● Reduce climate impact

● Create new jobs

About the project

The project investigates how Swedish industry can increase its resilience by enabling on-demand manufacturing of critical parts and components using 3D printing. On Demand 2033 brings together companies, researchers and development environments to:

● Reduce dependence on global and vulnerable supply chains

● Show how local, on-demand production works

● Support companies in testing, implementing and scaling new methods

● Promote circular, sustainable and flexible production models

● Share knowledge and best practices through collaboration

It's not just about technology – it's about building an industry that is resilient to crises.
